Our problem isn’t time management—it’s prioritization. But to actually solve problems of priority, we do need to make the time to sift through what’s on our plate.
The Unobstructed Podcast: Episode 03
In this conversation, Rachael and I talk about the importance of creating space to do the work (ya know, instead of just talking about doing the work in back-to-back meetings).
Naturally, we do also touch on effective—and ineffective—time management strategies. But for the purposes of making time to prioritize and eliminate shit from your to-do list.
As someone with ADHD, I can tell you I’ve tried a million of those time management “hacks”…and while there’s a lot of fluff, there are actually some ways that do work (no, not just doing a calendar rain dance, hoping to fit everything in).
Rachael and I also talk openly about navigating workplace conflicts, building psychological safety, and the real impact of culture on productivity.
Ultimately, this episode emphasizes the need for self-governance and making your work visible…while managing expectations and communicating effectively in team dynamics.
And balancing work with personal time.
Oh, and conflict resolution.
